DMACC Scholarships
DMACC students seeking tuition assistance can apply online for scholarships funded by donations to the DMACC Foundation. Minimum for most awards is a 2.0 GPA and completion of six DMACC credits during the award term. Application deadlines vary throughout the year.

American Board of Funeral Service Education Scholarship

  1. Have completed at least one semester (or quarter) of study in a program in funeral service or mortuary science education accredited by the American Board of Funeral Service Education.  Students in coordinated programs are only eligible for an award during the period of attendance at the American Board accredited institution.
  2. Have at least one term or semester remaining in his/her program which will commence after the award date (April or September) in order to be considered for a full award.  Students with less than a full term of study remaining will be considered for partial awards.
  3. Complete all forms required by the Scholarship Committee of the American Board of Funeral Service Education and submit them prior to the above deadline dates.  Late or incomplete applications will not be considered by the committee.
  4. Be a citizen of the United States.

American Heart Association Go Red(tm) Multicultural Scholarship

Branstad-Reynolds Scholarship Fund: Children of Fallen Iowa Service Member Scholarship

Child or sibling of a deceased service member that died while serving in an active military status since September 11, 2001.

Qualifying Service Member is any of the following:

  • was a resident of Iowa at the time of entering military service

    • Death does not have to be combat-related
    • Active military status includes active federal service in the Armed Forces,  National Guard,  or Reserves

Iowa Foundation For Agricultural Advancement: 2013 IFAA Winner's Circle Scholarships

Scholarships available:

  • Branstad-Reynolds Agriculture Scholarship:  Must currently be an undergraduate attending an Iowa community college, college or university and pursuing a degree in the field of agriculture.  Applicant must have a strong background in 4-H and/or FFA and demonstrate leadership while being involved in activities.  Preference will be given to applicant who shows a strong desire to remain active in agriculture.
  • Iowa State Fair FFA Blue and Gold Gilt Sale Scholarship:  Must have exhibited breeding swine at the Iowa State Fair FFA Swine Show at least once during their FFA membership and in a year prior to applying for the scholarship.  Applicant must be an undergraduate in Agriculture or agriculture related field at any Iowa university or community college.  Must have a strong background in FFA leadership and show a strong desire to remain active in agriculture after graduation.  Applicants are eligible to apply every year they meet the requirements; however preference will be given to those who have not received a scholarship in the past.
  • Iowa Meat Goat Association Scholarship:  Must be an undergraduate in Agriculture at any Iowa community college, college or university.  Applicant must have a strong background in meat goat production and/or exhibiting, project an activities.
