Time to File the 2015-16 FAFSA
Attention DMACC continuing and prospective students. It is time to complete the 2015-2016 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
DMACC's school code is 004589 for all campuses.
Complete your FAFSA now for Fall 2015, Spring 2016 and Summer 2016! The earlier you file the FAFSA, the earlier you will receive an award offer.
The Financial Aid Office recommends you file before April 1, 2015 for fall term beginning in August, 2015 to ensure your funds are available early to pay for fall term charges.
You may go to www.fafsa.gov to complete the 2015-2016 FAFSA after Jan 1, 2015. Applicants may be required to submit Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Tax Transcripts to the Financial Aid Office.
IRS Retrieval Tool on the FAFSA
The FAFSA will allow you to link to the IRS via the Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) on the FAFSA. On Feb 2, 2015 the IRS DRT will be available to applicants.
As a reminder: Jan 16, 2015 - Jan 22, 2015 renewal reminder e-mails were sent to renewal-eligible applicants who have not yet filed a 2015-2016 FAFSA.
